Sriracha Brown Sugar Shrimp
Sriracha brown sugar shrimp is a quick and easy weeknight meal. Gluten free, only 4 ingredients, made in under 10 minutes. Happy Wednesday my foodies!
I hope your week is going amazing. It's been such a whirlwind since officially opening our doors to Nourishing Minds Nutrition. And I am loving every second of it.
Its crazy when you know you are the path you were always meant to be on your whole life, and that the steps to your ultimate goals and dreams are right in front of you. Since the moment I decide to say F it and be 100% honest and authentic to myself, everything has aligned in my life. So I'm sharing more on my IG stories about my opinions on all things wellness- both nutrition, emotional, green living, etc. I am cussing more because guess what- I cuss A LOT in real life. Sorry fam :) I'm talking about my beliefs in what's best for our health. Even if others disagree with me. Meg and I have a unique and tailored approach to ditching diets, fixing digestion and improving health...and I am LOVING every second of helping clients.
But, to the food! Recipe time!
Recipes come to me in the oddest ways. Inspiration comes from the oddest things. I created this recipe one day when I think I randomly read about sriracha and brown sugar. And then the recipe redux theme was to come up with a recipe based on ingredients you always have in the house. (Grass fed) butter, sriracha, brown sugar. STAPLES in the Myers household. And because we live in the Gulf, we almost always have gulf shrimp in our freezer, too. This recipe I am sure would taste great with any fish, seafood or even chicken. Nick catches a lot of snapper, redfish and sheepshead when he goes fishing and were going to try this recipe with those fish next time!
But today, it's with shrimp. And you know what it taste amazing with??!! This simple guac and this coconut lime rice. Flavor. Explosion.
