This month, the podcast will hit our three year anniversary. And for THREE YEARS now share my adoration for intuitive eating...and it all started from a realization years ago, that diets don’t work. I saw it in my personal life after a 10 year battle of on and off again diets and developing orthorexia as a result. I saw it in my clients. In my friends and family members and co-workers. I saw it in the research, too. And a shift as a wave of dietitians decided to so loudly claim that diets don’t work that a large sector of the RD population now, myself included, call ourselves non-diet or anti-diet dietitians to dissociate ourselves from dieting.

 

Why? Because...Diets don’t work. And I want to dive into this deeper with you, which is why I’m hosting my next free workshop, called Why Diets Don’t Work (and What to Do Instead).

The workshop will cover the science of why diets don’t work, what to do instead and understanding what exactly intuitive eating is (and is not). I’ll help you understand the physical and mental health benefits of intuitive eating and why it builds sustainable, long term health habits that stick. Because i know you want to know, if you are going to stop dieting- you need to know what you’ll be doing instead.

 

Plus, I’ll review with you the 4 P’s of the permission stage of intuitive eating. That way you can from food obsession to food flexibility. So you can make peace with not only food, but with your body and finally stop micromanaging it. That way you can learn to practice wellness without obsession. And so that this year, even amongst the craziness that is 2020, you reach your goals and become an intuitive eater. Once and for all. Because one of the many amazing things about intuitive eating? You’ll never have to diet again. How cool is that?
